The Village of Kohler is a community of friendly people, charming homes, and diverse cultural and recreational amenities. The dream of developing Kohler Village as a garden/industrial community was conceived by Walter J. Kohler. Walter worked with the prominent landscape design firm Olmsted Bros. to develop one of the nation's first and finest planned communities. Noted landscape architect, Frederick Law Olmsted, designed New York's Central Park and the grounds of the Biltmore Estate in Asheville, North Carolina.
